| Distribution of Village Life to retail outlets is handled by Central Media Distributors, an independent distributor who handles, amongst others, Mail & Guardian. Whereas distribution was initially limited to the greater Western Cape,, the Eastern Cape has been added and from No 23 the magazine will be available in selected branches of Exclusive Books and CNA countrywide. The print order for No 22 was 9000, of which 2500 copies were distributed in targeted affluent suburbs in Pretoria and Johannesburg. A conservative longer-term paid circulation of 20 000 is envisaged, with the target for 2007 set at 10 000 (we already have over 1000 paid subscribers).
